My name is Stephoney Carr. I was born in Jamaica, W.I. and was raised under a heavily Pentecostal influence and was baptized at the age of 6. When I was 14 my family migrated in to the US. My teen years were spent at Charles E. Gorton High School where my main are of interest was foreign languages. Following high school I attended the Pace Business School majoring in computer programming. I began ministering in song at the age of 7 and in the spoken word at the age of 19. With a desire to further my spiritual education and being an evangelist at heart I attended the Family of Christ School of Ministry (NY) studying Evangelism & General Bible.

I have been blessed to have been able to minister all across the United States & have also been able to take the gospel of the Kingdom to countries such as Jamaica, Canada & Trinidad.  I am currently the Director of Youth Ministries at the Faith Covenant Church of God located here in Charlotte, NC at 1148 N. Sharon Amity Rd.. My Pastor is Bishop Wade T. Foster, a truly anointed man of God. Who has been divinely called of God for such a time as this!

I believe that this is a wonderful time in Gods’ divine calendar. I believe the church is poised at the very brink of a mighty supernatural outpouring of the power of God. I believe that this is the year of breakthroughs and that if the body of Christ would gather our global selves & collectively, earnestly seek the face of God that we would witness a revival of such magnitude the likes of which the world has never seen. Gone are the days when we can sit on our padded pews and sing solos & preach wonderfully eloquent sermons to each other. We have each been called to a great ministry & we must not fail to answer this call.

My Non Profit Organization; Carolina Community Intervention Program (CCIP), was realized a number of years ago when one of her own family members was arrested and needed a chance to get his life back on track after being released. I realized that he was not alone, many of our youths were making the same mistakes in fact there was an entire generation that were being systematically deceived & discarded by the enemy. They hopelessly wandered the streets daily. They seemed to have no goals, no aim and no ideals.

I was determined not to let him become a statistic. My then husband and I began helping him to get his record clean and holding him accountable to change his behavior.  We went to companies & spoke to them on his behalf explaining his “situation”.  He has since returned to school and obtained his GED.  He is now gainfully employed and is well on his way to accomplishing his goals.  Stephoney realized that it was so easy to do this for him, but why wasn’t someone doing this for everyone’s child & she realized, “to borrow a phrase from my good friend & brother,

 “If Not Me, Who?”

…and so CCIP was fully born.”

I would hope that you would reach out to me and my organization in time of need. We are always here and always willing to help those who want it.
